hi about 10 days ago i bought 3 salifin marble mollies. they started off well in the tank and looked happy. on the weekent though they all died within about the same time.
these are my readings
amonia: 0
nitrite:0
nitrate:25
ph: 7.5-8
What do you may have been the cause to there death? i didnt add salt which i know they prefer but surely this wouldnt lead to death? thansk

How many gallons is the tank you were keeping them and what other fish did you keep with them? How long did you acclimatise them to the tank for and how did you go about it? Did they show any odd/unusual symptoms before death whether behavioral or physical etc?

mollies are brackish so they either need absouloutely perfect and clean conditions or brackish water

Yep, I believe I read that if you want to keep mollies in freshwater, you have to keep the nitrates under 10ppm, this means more water changes or loads of healthy fast growing plants.
Of coarse, a lot of peoples tap water has nitrates of 10ppm+ anyway...
