i bought 2 blue rams 1 diead 2 days later got another one and that same day one died and now today the other one diead man its been a bad first time fish keeping for me. i cant keep fish alive other thin my bolivian ram and my dragon goby. i think my tanks cycling and at the same time i got ich in my tank.
so i have my fish in the tank at work now till my tanks done cycling. this suxs :X

yes, should have cycled first as you stated. The rams, if they were german rams, died because they are very intolerant of bad water. They need clean, healthy water at exactly the param's they like to thrive. Kind of a pain but I guess gives you a certain satisfaction if you can keep any fussy fish alive and happy :hey:

Its a shame so many places dont give the beginner good info re fish, cycling, water quality etc. I cant even begin to imagine how i got started if it hadnt been for my dad knowing a good shop to get stuff from and learn from there.

If your tank is cycling then you really dont want to add anything to it for at least 2 weeks (dependant on tank size) using stuff like stress zyme, easy balance etc really helps the good bacteria grow. Also water/filter squeezings from a mature health tank is excellent.

If you you say you have white spot already its not a good sign.
