3 Agressive Male Mollies And 1 Female

well i just bought 4 mollies last week from the petstore and he gave me 3 male and one female,problem is i didnt know the female was pregnant.
i was out sunday so fed them in the morning and realized monday morning a couple of fry in the tank.i managed to scoop out 8 but a few were eaten my the males and one was still,so i sewed a net together real quick and put a round see through bowl with a bit of gravel into the net before putting the fry in it. its a fairly new tank so not much hiding places until plants grow so the fry were noticable.i see the males chacing the female around putting her in the corner all the time i just dont know whether to seperate them or leave them be.what shall i do?

For starters, you should have 1 male to every 2-3 females so your ratio is bad and will be causing probs

I agree too, i have 1 male to 4 females

You could take 2 of the males back and ask to swop them for females

It really annoys me when shop keepers dont think.
With no disprespect, did you tell the sales person you were new to keeping fish? If so he should be sacked in my opinion.
No one on their right mind would give so many males and just 1 female, thats asking for trouble and stressful on the poor female.

silly silly silly 1 male to 2-3 female if more than 1 male they will fight unless you get more females for 1 male
