Fish Crazy
After seeking advice on here it was apparent that I have laid far too much moss on my stones, so last night I tried to do it correctly!!
Sadly it never dawned on me that adding nets to a fish tank could be dangerous, I learnt the hard way
So they did look like this
Now they look like this
I also decided to cover a few larger stones I have, love the way the bogwood has protected some of this one!
The missing bit?
Once the stone was covered with a layer of moss I then stuck a hairnet over and tied it all down with some string. This was the same process I used on the bogwood to

Sadly this is where things went wrong. You will notice the top right has some exposed netting, it never crossed my mind that nets and fish usually have one outcome, I didn't notice when I took the next shot that one of my male mollies was trapped.
I didn't notice in time and sadly he died.
I tried to save him by cutting the netting off but it was too late, hard lesson learnt. I then removed each piece and wrapped up again, this time covering all exposed nets.
The tank now looks like this
Whilst I was moving stones I found what I think is my only surviving Cherry shrimp!
Well that’s about it, I hope you like the results. I will take a few more in a month or so to show before and afters. That’s assuming they grow!!!
Comments and suggestions welcome.
