2cups Of Sugar Seem Too Much For Nutrifin Co2?

Dont you guys think that 2 cups of sugar seem too much for the Nutrifin CO2 containers? I added 2 cups of sugar into it and it took up more than half of the container.

are you adding only to cover the little fin like things inside the reactor? thats all the directions say to add.

Other people say they use 2 cups of sugar and thats what I did.

i always just filled mines up to the top like it said and add a little more yeast with the diy recipe.oh i didnt use any bi-carb.mines would start to bubble within 5 minutes.

Whats your CO2 ppm and when do you change the mixture?

well at the time i had two units on a 29gal tank changing the mixture about once a week and could usually get about 25ppm.right now im getting used to my new pressurized unit and just got it figured out but i havent measured recently because im gonna do a tear down but im pretty sure i can get the right levels constant now.
