I read the very recent thread on a 29g tank, but I have a few different suggestions, so what i learned there is only so useful to me. Anyways, Im debating getting a 29g tank. (I have a 10, so I know a little about fish keeping) I have one Chinese Algae Eater that outgrew the 10 gallon, so Im going to put in this tank if i get it (unless it wont jibe with Cichlids). Ok, so I would prefer to have multiple fish, rather than like 1 pair of bigger fish. I dont know much about Cichlids other than they look cool. I did read a lot about Discuses, but im going to college soon (not this fall, but next), so I need a rather hardy fish, because when I leave, my parents are caring for the fish, and while my dad had a tank when he was young, I doubt he will do water changes any more than once a month. I just would like some suggestions of a few Cichlids to get. Ones that will go well together, colorful, fit in a 29g tank, work with a CAE, will have babies, and are fairly hardy.

P.S. I really like those Yellow Labs, which are African Cichlids, but if they work with other New World Cichlids, I would like to pick ones it would work with.

Thanks

Actually, im gonna do some research, if I find I can have Yellow Labs and breed them, then ill have a species tank with only them. So off to the African Cichlid section I go.
