hey guys, i was just wondering if i could put yellow labs in a 29 gallon tank, it will have alot of rock work, and have 2 hob filters on it. would this work fine?

Not big enough IMO - you really need 4 feet in length, width and height are not as important. - Sorry. :/

Shellies will be perfect for that tank with loads of different options - i don't think you'll be dissapointed. :good:

:) would you suggest any?, i want fish that wont be to shy, and with lots of color. il good some reseach but it would help alot if you could point me out some of your favs or bright ones.

Would Yellow Labs work for a 55 gallon?

Absolutely, 55gal is one of the most popular beginner tanks for mbuna. I say beginner, because a high percent of people that start with a 55 will upgrade.

Good becasue my Aunt has offered me a FREE! 55 gallon tank including: 1 pleco, 1 bala shark, 1 silver dallor, 1 heater, 2 bio-wheels, 5 piecies of slate, and about 300 feeder guppies( been there for 2 years so no sick ones). I dont know if my mom will let me have one, for being in 8th grade and having a 30g, 20g flat hexagon, 10g, 2.5g, My mom says that I couldnt possibily need more!!!!!!!! Too bad I have MTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as you rehome the fish in the 55gal then you'll be good to go. The labs won't be compatible with any of the fish already in the tank (except for the pleco). They'll terrorize the bala shark and silver dollar, and will most likely eat the guppys, which isn't good for them. Not to mention both bala sharks and silver dollars should be in groups of 6 or more, and require softer water.
