29 Gallon Tiger Barb Tank...

Hey, I absolutly love tiger barbs, and my 29gallon tank will be freed up soon, I was thinking of making it a tiger barb species tank (with some cory cats on the bottom for the clean up). About how many tiger barbs do you think I could fit in there including the 5 cory cats I've already got? I was think somewhere along the lines of 12-14, or would this be way too many?

I was thinking more of about 8-10. Remember, they grow to 3 inches each. I plan on doing this eventually, except instead of cories, I'll have a RTS. 3" x 10 fish = 30", + 5" for the cories or RTS and your actually a bit overstocked at 35". It's not too much, though, and as long as you have sufficient filtration and do weekly water changes you'll do fine,
