29 Gallon Stocking

hey i have a 29 gallon with real and fake plants

i have:

2 green tiger barbs
4 tiger barbs
2 a baby blue tiger barbs

2 cobalt blue dwarf gouramis

and 1 common pleco


i was thinking maybe 2 albino tiger barbs or a rainbow shark? or maybe some smaller barbs or maybe even a tank mate for the pleco

any suggestions on what i should do?

i think im just gunna go with the albino barbs

so i have 4 different types of tiger barbs



could angels go with barbs n gouramis

Hi I will reply for you.

I had 9 Tiger Barbs and they were fine but reading through various posts I came to the conclusion that they could nip long finned fish such as Angels etc. So never got anything that was slow and had long fins.

So if you were to get anytihng then more barbs but do you know how big your plec will get?

hi there,

you will probably find thAT YOUR PLECO WILL GET TOO BIG FOR YOUR TANK oops hit capslock.

erm your gouramis will get nipped by the tiger barbs but you have a big group of them so it may be that the fin nipping is contained within the group and they will leave the gourami alone. but its risky and you might put the gourami under undue stress.

some things just dont work.
