thanks for looking

Looks great. I have the same tank and stand as you. It's a Rena Aqua 100 I bought the whole set up foe £350 but have seen it in other LFS for £450 (192 litres/42 uk gal). How do you find the rena XP2? I don't seem to get much flow from the out feed for some reason! Mines been running for nearly two years. It's a cracking tank. The rena heater is great which doubles up as the inlet pipe.
Whats your stocking (see my sig)

thanks for the replies

i bought mine from an online store at around the same price, got an XP3 with it for an extra 20quid, flows good, cracking tank, very good quality

yeah got my inlet pipe connected to the heater aswell, mines mainly a livelbearer tank

stocking:

3 pearl gouramis
7 guppies
15 mollies and platies
11 neons

clean up crew
8 albino cories
8 otos
8 amano shrimp

all water stats are perfect, no ammonia spikes, currently treating black hair algae

tempted to set up a lake tangkiyan cichlid tank, find them more interesting! tanks very colourful though, which is how the other half wanted it lol

Really nice, I like the plants/slate/dark sand - and cories are always good!

What lighting are you using or are they the ones that came with the tank?
I'm thinking of a lttle change in stock soon, I may change my barbs for sword tails to add some colour or some rams and make the tank a bit more peacefull, plus add a few more neons.

just runing the same lights that came with it, love the neons, stand out really well against the black background, yeah barbs can be little ####s lol

is that quite a tall tank, normally as tanks get larger they get longer?

i may be wrong but i thought longer tanks can hold more fish as they have a larger surface area for gas exchange etc?
