24G Nano Cube Stocking List

Hiya,

first post and first tank for about 12 years. I've aquired a 24G Nano Cube that I'm currently cycling; so while it does the biz I'm thinking about my stock.

Here's what I'd like in there;

Pair of Rams
Pair of Kribs
Pair of Apistogrammas
Few Guppies and Tetra swimming about
Pair of Zebra Plecs
3 small Corys

Most keen to find out if the dwarf Cichlids will get along - I'll be providing plenty of caves and rocks cover etc for everyone.

Can I put more in this tank or is that about my limit?

* Side note - I can't afford to add my full stock in 1 go - so is it safe/advisable to keep adding a small amount of ammonia to keep my bacteria alive untill fully stocked? *

I would stick to just one of the pairs of dwarfs or when they hit sexual maturity there will be alot of fighting. I personally would go for apisto they do best with 1 male to a few females i think you could get away with 1male and 2 females.
I think haveing 3 apisto 2 plecs and 4 corys will be to much for a 24g so i would drop one of the types. If your going to pay that amount of money for a pair of zebras i would go for a single species tank and try and breed them.
I would go for
3 apisto 1m 2f
6 tetra or rasbora
6 hatchets
6 corys or 2 plecs
