OK guys a question for you. I am setting up a 2ft cube to be planted aquarium, I plan on using an Aquafx-500 with 2 tubes for general light i.e. dawn/dusk and want to use gu10 led bulbs for the main(midday)lights I have found the bulbs which I think would work these are 3w 6200k 120 degree spot type gu10 led bulbs, they use smd LED's and supposedly are equivalent to a 50-60w halogen version in terms of light output. Now for the question how many do you think I should go for 2,4,6 or more. I should say I was planning on splitting them left and right(thats why even numbers) so that in theory I get like the sun passing overhead.
All opinions gratefully received.
CO2 and ei dosing heavily planted
