230 Gallon Africian Cichlids

I have just aquired a 230 gallon fish tank and want to raise Africian Cichlids. How many and which ones I'm not sure. Anyone have any suggestions.

with the amount of space you have no linitation on which kinds of cichlids you can get but i recomend getting yyellow labs some frontosas and definitely some peacoks. also some venturas and scofolis would be nice. congratz on big tanks must be exciting

I belive firemouths are SA...

but with a tank that size you are gonna have fun...

I have a 300 gallon, and with 30 some fish in there I havent made a dent. Currently I'm waiting on more rock so I can have more caves before I add more fish...

this is my current stocking

4 yellow labs. (Labidochromis caeruleus)

4 kenyi (Pseudotropheus lombardoi)

4 auratus (Melanochromis auratus)

4 acei. (Pseudotropheus sp. "Acei" )

3 peacock cichlids

4 red zebra cichlids

4 albino red zebra cichlids

2 'highfin plecos

2 albino chocolate plecos.

2 syno catfish... so far unidentified... and hide to well for a pic.
