22g Tank And Tiger Barbs

In a 22G tank ... could I have 5 Barbs?
Also does that mean 5 Barbs is all I will ever have in that tank?

22gallons could be considered small for tiget barbs but I think it'll be okay. You could get more than just the tiger barbs but with just 5 they might be aggressive.
