Hi all my 22g is finally cycled and was wondering of fish to put in with my betta I need fish that will not be nippy at all as my fighter has very long fins even for a betta

Kuhli loaches and dwarf rasboras, is what I'd go with.

That's a perfect idea

I'd say
1x Betta
12x Kuhli Loaches
18-20x Dwarf Rasboras (I'm assuming you mean mosquito rasboras)
And some dwarf shrimp if you'd like

The dwarf rasboras look nice never had them and never had shrimp how hard are shrimp to look after?

What are the dimensions of the tank, OP?

Cherry shrimp aren't very hard to care for. Provide them with a lot of hiding spots (same goes for the loaches), lots of plants, driftwood, moss, maybe some rock caves or PVC pipe cave. They breed in almost any condition. They'll eat what falls to the floor, but you'll need to also throw food for them in. Bottom feeder pellets, blanched lettuce and zuchini, even special shrimp food. You'll need a sandy bottom for the loaches to sift through and not damage their whiskers.

In fact, you could do a cool PVC pipe project like me. Take a PVC pipe, and silicone either gravel or sand or both. Then attach some sort of clinging plant, like moss. I used Round Pellia. The loaches and the shrimp will appreciate the cover and shelter, and the moss can breed and graze on the clinging plant. The coverings make it natural and it blends in. Just look

You could even add some catappa almond leaves for nutrients and cover. Shrimp like to graze on it as it provies essential vitamins and minerals and kuhlis appreciate the cover.
