Ilove your planting, i gives a nice natural backdrop and cover for the fish. :good:

Thanks alot mate :)

Only thing i dont like is the gravel. But i cant find a cheap enough black gravel to make the hours id spend trying to change over to black gravel lol.
So its gonna stay green and blue for awhile (big big mistake when i first bought the tank).

Thinking about changing the treasure chest with a rock cave i will make soon enough. Just made one for the 10G (going to try and sex my juvi appistos and put a pair or trio in there). Just waiting on it to dry :) Ive got pics if you wanna see. Itsn ot finished yet though. Drying at the moment then im going to use box cutters to cut of as much sillicon as i can, that isnt important there anyway. Not the support silicon :D

I'd say go as natural as possible IMO it's just a better enviroment for the fish why not try play sand? I use it and it looks great oh and hidey holes are always a good thing for any fish lol.

HAHAHA bad experience with play sand :p Set up tank with it, didnt clean it properly and ended up with EXTREMELY cloudy tank with 4 inches of water lol. It was so bad couldnt see into the tank. So took it out, binned it and put the gravel back in lol.
So i want black gravel :D I like the look.
Yeah i figured the plants would be okay to cut of line of sight :D Plus cant think of a way to fit in a cavey looking thing anywhere lol.

Indir

The gravel isn't my fav, but the rest looks nice. Rather than completly replaceing all the gravel, you could carpet some java moss on the bottom. It will give it a more natural look.

Yeah i was thinking that but cant find java moss. Plus from experiences mosses get coverd in debris for some reason... So i stick to gravel lol.
Just want black now :)
