Hey there, Im new to kish keeping so let me tell you what i wanna do..
Im Buying a 20-24gallon Aquarium And the fish i Want in it are..
Neon Tetra 6x
SwordTails 1 x Male (I heared If you house more then one male they fight?)
Beta (Siamese Fighting Fish) 1xMale
2x Schwartz Cories

But im looking for more fish to go with it So if anyone has ideas on what fish Please Comment

I'm not sure if the betta will work in there, they just dont usally work in community situations...

Corys need groups of 4 or more

Edit-Also, I think Swordtails are gregarious, it means they like groups...

i wouldn't reccomend the beta, (siamese fighting fish) with neons especially! they will nip at its fins... not nice... possibly some kind of gourami, but im just guessing... all i can say for sure is NO BETA! lol,

no betta, and AT least 1 more cory, umm, you could do an otto, and maybe bolivian rams and like some more tetra or something!

I have successfully kept bettas in communities. That being said, I find the situation works best when they are kept with peaceful corydoras and small members of the genus Rasbora, which is a peaceful fish often found in the same region as the betta. Small, drab, slower schooling fish tend to work best. Avoid fish that tend to dwell in the same strata as the betta (usually the surface), long-finned fish, overly colorful fish, and fish that tend to nip. Still, putting a betta in a community, though possible, is risky.

Like lldjma06 said, you can do it, but it really restricts your choice of fish

Remember that if you do get a betta in a community tank, make sure the filtration has very little current, the betta will have a really hard time swimming in the current because of his long flowy fins. Again, that is another restriction.
