Wow that sounded like a great tank you just designed!Tolak said:If you get standard fin angels, you could keep 2 in there long term. 20 highs are just a little too shallow for veils, their fins will often get to 12" or better full grown. Many breeders use 20's for pairs. The tank footprint is 12"x24", 16" deep. That 16" leave just a few inches top & bottom for a full grown veil.
You could put a few livebearers in there, adds a bit of different color, fry will provide free food for the angels. They'll get big & healthy that way. I like keeping a few corys & a small bristlenose in my tanks. I need all the clean up help I can get.

wow, that is a great idea! That is basically what my aunt wanted. angels and guppies. though I did say to get some ottos, as the only bristlenose around her are $15, though I am sure she will like the corries!Tolak said:If you get standard fin angels, you could keep 2 in there long term. 20 highs are just a little too shallow for veils, their fins will often get to 12" or better full grown.
