20 Gallon tanks

I'm considering a new 20 gal and have been wondering if there are any preferences regarding shapes. There is the standard high at 24x12x16, the 20 long at 30x12x12, and one which fits in the footprint of a standard 10 gal at 20x10x24. The last seems cool but I'm not sure if it would be detrimental due to the minimal surface area.

I would say 20 gallon long, because there is more surface area, so you wouldn't have to worry if you ended up overstocking just a little bit.
