20 Gallon Tall Betta Tank?

I was thinking about putting a betta in a nice 20 gallon tall tank. What would be some good tank mates for a betta in a tall tank. Also would it be a good tank for a betta seeing that its tall and not long??

Could I put 12 Rasbora epes in a 20g with a betta.

But a 20 gallon tall has more surface area than your average betta tank anyway. In that respect, the tank would be fine.

Do you mean Rasbora espei? Lambchop rasboras don't nip and shouldn't provoke the betta. They should work well
