the platy have babies already. we have 8 fry in the plants.

Hi,

The fact that you have detectable ammonia indicates that your filter is not properly cycled, so you shouldn't be adding any new fish at the moment.

Do you have a nitrite test kit??

by 'all' levels, do you mean Ammonia and Nitrate? Or have you tested Nitrite as well?
