Right i have two weird things that keep happening, and i cant see what or why

1) Of the two sandsifting star fish i have, one keeps riding the other one, sometimes it'll be on it the same way so all the legs are covered and the bottom one can walk about stil, and other times it'll have its les between the bottom ones, so it cant move, or with great difficulty! :S

2) i have two blue-knuckled hermits that constantly keep climbing all the way to the top of my rock and getting into my acro, i have to keep getting them out as i cant see how theyre gonna do it themselves, but after a few hours one will be back up wedged deep in the middle again. whats the attraction??

any ideas why any of these happens??????

This is a family friendly forum and we don't discuss things like that...
Really though, I have no idea what the attraction would be. Unless there is not enough food and they are competeing with each other.

I have a similar situation with my crabs fascination for my new gorgonians. It does make one wonder what the attraction is, but I leave them be. I have over 400 crabs in my tank and can't keep up with policing them all.. :)

My 2 sand sifters do the exact same behaviour. I have no idea why they do this either :*)

I would guess that the hermit might be finding a source of food within the acros? perhaps some mucus etc? I doubt they are attacking it though.
