2 Rams Taking It In Turns To Fan Eggs

My 2 blue rams are still guarding and fanning their remaining eggs (which have been there since Sunday night) There are alot less eggs when I have come home now. I was just watching them and it looked like they were eating the eggs but they were spitting them out again. Could they just be playing wanna be parents ? Would they still guard and fan the eggs if the eggs were not ok ?

they could do, if it's they're first time mating they probably won't raise any fry sucessfully but they'll have a go at it. Let them do they're thing if they suceed then great, if not then keep doing what your doing cos they're obviously happy if they're trying, give them time and they'll learn.
