1. When a guppy has fry...lets say 100 (round number)how many will be male out of those 100 fry.
2. If a male and female molly mates, does one fry have both mother and father in it..or does the fry have mother or father trates

For the first question... I heard that guppies have x y and z chromosomes, and two of the three are female so the ratio is said to be 1 male for every 2 females. I don't really know for sure.

i can help ya, my guppy mama had 40 fry and about a 1/3 was male most were female.

and for mollys u can't tell, most will inherit trates from either the mother or father but there are acasional oditys like dalmatons.
