How do you know if it's to soon to add new fish?

And.

How many fish would you recommend in a 100x50x40 180l tank

I plan on:

20 neon
10 cory
3 bloated dalmation mollies
6 otos
And a few shrimp

And possibly a BN plec or similar.

Thanks

If your readings for ammonia and nitrite are zero, then you can add more fish, remember only to add up to 50% of your current stock and n more for two weeks after that (if you're not fully stocked by then, of course!).

The amount of fish you can have in your tank depends a lot on the amount of filtration and your maintenance regime; your stock list sounds fine except for the mollies; as a hardwater fish, they don't really go with your other fish with are soft, acidic loving species.

What's the pH and hardness of your tap water?
