Is there special co2 hose that I should be using with my co2 tank? With the same diameter as the regular airline hosing?

And how long should a 5lb co2 tank last? Mine has been running for maybe a month at under 30psi and it's empty. The hose to the tank came off a few times, but I was there when it happened, and not much gas got out.

There's special CO2 proof hosing that doesn't become brittle like standard airline.

5lb should last a lot longer than that, even in a 90G. How full was it (psi or bar)?

Definatly sounds like a leak.......

I think the psi was at 500 when I first got it. I can't remember off hand, but I'll look at the regulator when I'm done work today.

Is the hosing green? I seem to recall seeing green hosing somewhere. I looked on the website for the fish store I use, but I didn't see any. I'll have to give them a call.

I doubt if its only the airline, the airline will lose about 20% of the co2 if its not co2 proof, i still think you have a leak somewhere, im not sure how long a 5lb tank should last on a 90 gallon but i would imagine anywhere between 6 months to a year.

I doubt the lfs would have the correct hosing, maybe try the store where you got the cylinder, looks like you might have to pay a trip back there anyway to get it refilled.

You can get the hosing online but as far as i know you usually have to buy 50 foot minimum, not sure how much it is.

The hose that the store I got it had was far too large. Theirs was 1/2", and I need 1/8". I'm sure I have seen some co2 proof hose somewhere. I'll have to hunt.
