2 Pair Of Bolivian Rams

Hi, just wondering if anyone has experience of keeping 2 male/female pairs of Bolivian Rams together in the same tank? I've had two pairs for a couple of years now, but they have been kept separately - one pair in a 60L tank and the other in a 450L tank. This evening I put them together in the bigger tank, hoping that they'll get on okay. So far there has been a bit of mouth-to-mouth sparring between the two males, but it's looking like it's more for show than anything else. I'm thinking they are just in the process of developing a hierarchy. What do you guys think....is this a recipe for disaster or do you think there's a good chance they'll learn to get on together?

Hmm....still quite a bit of chasing going on....and my tank was so so peaceful before.

i dont have 2 pairs in same tank but i have 1 pair and 2 juveniles. they harass each other every now and then but mostly get on fine. theyre in a much smaller tank too
