2 More Of My Plec

was swimming right up to the edge of the tank because i didnt stick a cumber in ysterday for it

only about 2-3 inches

i cant keep him for too much longer but have a good home for him

hes got a broken spine/fin as well and is as happy as larry in the tank hes in right now, sad to see him go TBH

the git still goes and eats my plants after munching on the cucumber

im even thinking now i may have to get a bigger tank so i can keep him, hes developed a bit of a personality with his antics

thats just a common pleco

found in 90% of LFS

but what they dont tell you is that they grow very very big

and yes, he absolutely loves cucumber

im not sure

he was like that when i got him and i didnt actually realise at first, but hes got himself a right old personality on him and will sit and stare at me for hours on end when i get in from work until i put his cucumber in

I am new to all this and would like a Plec too. How big do they actually grow? I have a 130 litre (UK) tank. Can I keep one?

a 130l is too small for a common pleco but there are smaller ones, head over to the catfish section and theres a pinned topic of ones 8" and under
