2 More Handsome Boys In The Family

Last week i got a great bargain,managed to pick up 4 fish tanks for £55 along with loads of equipment (making my fishtank count now 11),one was a 4ft brand new with stand etc,the others were just small,ideal for fry,but one was big enough to split into 2 so i could add to my 2 bettas i already have.

I always have spare filters running in my other tanks because i never know when i will pick up a new tank LOL.

So i got the tank divided and set up then went on the hunt for 2 new boys and here they are

Excuse the awful bright substrate it was all i had spare from one of the kids old tanks,it will be getting replaced asap.

Ripple..........the substrate make his tail look all one colour in some photos but it's speckled

and bob,the photos really don't do him justice,he has loads of colours through him and it absolutely stunning

Aww they're both beautiful

I know what you mean about the photos just not doing the fish justice, mine never look as pretty in their photos as hey are in real life and i have a digital SLR as i do a photography course

Maybe i should have left that course out

Ohhhhh they are both so pretty! I love Ripples ripples and slight turquoisey highlight. Bob still looks beautiful, can't imagine what he is like in the flesh! Very jealous of your new additions.

awe cute! can i ask what you are using as subtrate? it looks like gravel but really fine!

Yea it's really fine gravel from pets@home,will be taking it out of that tank as it doesn't show off ripples colours very well,looks good with the darker betta though.

They re both gorgeous, but Ripple is just amazing! I have found I have a complete head-over-heels crush on these orange dalmatians. Ripple, Bubbles .... (Sigh...!) I will have to get one of these some day, though I have never seen these in the US.
