Hello All!, I don't mean to post again, but I just have a couple questions,
I have a 2 month old endler, (female) along with other endler fry, (all between newborn-2 months old)
anyways, she's definitely pregnant, I see a gravid spot, (which is extremely dark btw) but is that the best indicator? She's looking rather large, (fat) and looks almost squarish, I can't get a pic of her as she's only about this big. (..................)
How many fry do you think she'll roughly have? maybe 5 or so? if that? Will the fry be smaller than usual? How many times a day should I feed her?
Whenever she does give birth, will I need special care for the fry considering how small she is?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I take very good care of her. :good:

I wouldn't worry too much about them having a dark gravid spot at such an early age, most of my young 6-8 wk guppy/platy juvis have dark gravid spots and look plump(probably from pinching all the food  )
If she is pregnant, being immature and still growing,i doubt whether the fry will survive, just treat her has you would the others.

I agree, all older female guppy fry have gravid spots but doesn't mean the are pregnant.
If she does have fry she will only have a few normal sized ones, not dozens of microscopic ones. So treat and feed fry as uaual if she has any.

That's a tiny female. If she's pregnant, chances are she'll only have a few fry (2 possibly). Two of my small females that were little like that both had 2 fry each and only one of the four fry lived for more than about 5 days. The baby did die. . .the mommy fish also died.
