2 Inch Per Gallon?

I wouldn't agree with this; yes, a tank is a lot more stable water quality-wise after 6months and so you can indulge in stocking more fragile/sensitive fish much more safely or just have higher numbers of fish, but the inch per gallon rule is only a rule of thumb/basic guide to help narrow down stocking choices and really doesn't go into enough detail or include all the other factors when stocking fish in a tank to stock fish safely.
If people went by the 2inch of fish per gallon rule, there would be so many people with massively overstocked tanks. Such calculations should never be rules, only basic guidelines, as there are thousands of cases where these "rules" don't apply. I think overal inch per gallon rules give the wrong impression of researching into stocking tanks.

I would suggest the person who worte that would be qualified to do so, however I would do it with caution if you are going to do it and always have a spare tank or a tank fish can move to if you have any problems. Always checking water stats and regular water changes with good filtration would also be required.

ye cos when my tanks mature i want to add a few more corys, it wont be much over 1" per gallon but will be a bit, if i add them slowly and keep checking water, is that ok

I think some more corys would be fine if your filtration is good and strong in the tank, i would personally add at least another bronze and albino cory to the tank, and perhaps one more female platy and one more female guppy.

they seem ok with the 2-1 ratio with the live bearers, i was going to get a 2 more of each bronze and albino and then if i can get rid of the sward tails i dont want maby 4 pandas but they would be the very last thing if there is enough space as i am absoloutly mad on corys lol

I personally wouldn't have more than a total of 9 corys in the tank as it does not have a great deal of space at the bottom, having a lot of length and width in the tank for cory stocking is very important as they are very much bottom dwelling fish and don't spend much time anywhere else like platys which swim the entire space of the tank, from top to bottom.

ye i understand what you are saying and not saying your wrong, but people have cory species tanks and they are stocked with just corys and they seem ok,.... just wondering

Its up to you when it comes down to it, technically those all-cory tanks you see are not overstocked, but personally i think if you can offer a lot more space for such bottom dwelling fish (which i assume are also permanent residents in your tank) then they will probably enjoy it a lot more rather than bumping into other corys in every direction they turn. Others may disagree, but when it comes to situations like this i think it is mostly down to personal preference and what you want for your fish  .

well i think ill just get the extra 2 bronze and albino, so they will be more happy social wise and also a lot of the time a group will be in a breeding tank....

now how to get another tank....
