In the last 24 hours two of my Harlequin Rasbora have died. I found them upside down on the substrate, with no obvious bloating, wounds etc. which is leading my towards internal problems... ?

My water stats are:

Ammonia: 0.25ppm (water change day today)

Nitrite: 0ppm

Nitrate: 10ppm

PH: 8.2

Last week I added 4 corys... if this helps.

Thanks, Jonty

there shouldnt be a reading of ammonia, it was most probably the ammonia that killed the pair as it is more toxic with a higher PH. just keep up with the water changes.

any new additions?
any rotting plants?

That makes sense...

Only plants in there are mossballs, and they're fine

aye, it will be a mini cycle...you may be surprised to know, but moss balls are actually algae.
