Fish Fanatic
It all started last night. I noticed that one of my dwarf puffer was just laying on the bottom of the tank not moving. I thought for sure he was dead so I went about the task of removing him
. As I went to get him he slowly began to move, not much, but just a little bit. Then right about the same time the other dwarf puffer swam up and took a big bite out of the sick one. I don't have another tank to put him in so I put him in a small cup which i floated in the tank. This morning I expected him to be dead. But he actually was still alive, but only just barely.
He floats at the top with his nose pointing up or he just lays on the bottom. What should I do, do I need to just help him along? I don't want him to suffer. If not what should I do to help him? If I should, how should I? I don't have a knife that could do, nor any of the drugs. The only thing I can think of is just a hammer (inside of a bag, obsiously). Gross, yes, but would it be better for him?
Second problem: This morning when I woke up I found one of my peppered cory cats stuck in the intake of my filter
. I quick turned off the filter and with a little bit of help he managed to get out. The back part of his body looks obviously smooshed. What should I do for him?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSES!
