In the last 2 days I have lost 2 platies...my faves too 
.....
Water parameters....0 ammo, 0 nitrites, 5ppm nitrates
The first one got thin over a quick period then died after 3 weeks in quarantine (I think from internal parasites)....
The second one stopped eating and kinda hung out at the back of the tank....I moved her to quarantine yesterday and she died early this morning....
Parameters on the quarantine tank checked out OK as well.....
Other fish in the tank are fine, including 5 platy fry....and many bnose fry.....
Perhaps it was just their time....
