2.5 split

could i take some egg crate and devid my 2.5 gal in to two
right now one of my males is in amilk jug with the top cut off
this way he could be in a heated tank with filtration the only thing im worried obut is the female will be on the other side and they might be able to see each other

I use a couple pieces of needlepoint plastic canvas to divide my small 2.5 gallon tank. I have nylon thread and sew them together. Then you just need something to attach them to the tank. The mini bow has groves which make it easier for me.
