2.5 Gallon Tanks

Sure, if it's filtered. People seem to think that you can't cycle anything under 5g, but I've successfully cycled a 3l (just under 1g) tank, and will attempt to cycle a 1/2g once I've made the filter better.

they'll be filtered by a penn plax small world filter. well, heck, if you truely cycled a one gallon- once these babies grow out of the 1 gal i have them in at the moment, i might cycle that then...

I just cloned my betta tank. I added the filter for the betta tank to one of the filters on my other tank, waited 2 weeks, and presto, instantly cycled betta tank. I still kept a close eye on the stats in the betta tank for the first week or so to make sure.

well, the 10 gallon that one betta is in presently has an altogether different filter than the two 2.5 gallons i plan on getting at some point this summer. i'm pretty sure they have no filters unless i use a penn plax (like in the 1 gallon)
