18 X 12 X 12

well I used the link for you. your tank will hold 42 litres.

That wasn't my intention. I'm an a$$ sometimes. I hope the info was helpfull. I'm sorry I was rude. I was trying to make a brief post with the info in it and that's what came out.

EDIT: thanks for telling me. I do that without really thinking. I apologize again

thats ok. i din't use your table thing as i didnt under stand light distance thing.

is that tank a good buy for £5?

did it come with filter heater etc? if so then yeah that's a pretty good buy. If not then it's a decent buy

EDIT: about the light distance thing. Measure the distance from the light bulb to the top of the gravel. It's not important unless you are trying to figure out how much light you need for your plants. If you don't have live plants just put the height of the tank in there and don't worry about it. =)

To work out the volume of a tank:

If your measurement is in inches, use an online converter to change it to centimetres.

Then once you have the dimentions of your tank multiply the length by the width by the height.

You will then have an answer this will be x cubic centimetres

Now 1 cubic centimetres = 1 milliliter

So x cubic centimetres = x milliliters

And there are 1000 milliliters in 1 liter.

Thats the simple way to work out your tank volume :)

Strange but true - I work in 12" cubes...

a 12x12x12 cube holds about 6uk gal (7.5us)
or about 25L (27ish to be a bit more accurate)

so an 18x12x12 is 1.5 of them...

so roughly 9uk gallons, 13us or 40L
