Ugh! I just lost five paragraphs!

I started this thread to make an Old Man Tribute thread for our old Bettas. I asked others to post their Old man stories or copy/paste them from the other thread which was dying. I thought it might be nice to have a pinned tribute thread for Our Old Bettas and Our First Bettas. But no one responded so I erased everything, but I couldn't delete the thread.

But I did go on a binge today!

I had to get Whiskers his rabies shot, so I went to my fav lps.

I decided to check the Bettas. I wanted a red pretty boy VT.

Well one had blown a nice bubble nest in his little cup, and another was flaring his heart out. I just couldn't decide!

So, whatdaya think I did?

Hehe! I got them both and a critter keeper.

But Whiskers needed a new leash, one of the ones that is on a wind up thing, so I don't have to poke my head in the bushes on his walks. I had a refund from Petco with a 10% coupon, so I went and got his leash there.

Of course I checked their critter keepers. They were cheaper, and I thought I might as well check their Bettas. They had their Bettas in larger cups, and they also were young and healthy looking.

But they had one very young 1" VT lady. So I got her too.

I am bad.

He belongs in the old man thread. He's 12 sometime in November. He is cranky, but active and healthy.

Adorable dog!!! And you sound like me, I would do the same!!! I love bettas so much!!! And I have no bettas right now! I will have to go on a shopping spree too!!!!!!! I really do miss my luna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thinking about getting a betta boy this time. But not for a while. Maybe for my little tank, but the big one will have to wait.

The bettas sound lovely and I cant wait for pics!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's an interesting dog. He likes toes. lol He has gotten very cranky at everyone since we moved from a house with a big yard to an apartment. He thinks everyone is trespassing on his property. lol He goes for any toes he gets a chance to lunge at.

My software did something bad and I have to find the camera cd and reinstall or hook up my lap top in order to post pics of the newbies.

I love Whiskers he looks like my old Polly who was a old english/wolfhound!

He acts fearless, but he doesn't want to go out w/o the leash since the neighbor dog bit him, while he was taking a poo. He is about 15 pounds and short dachound legs, long nose and body with a yorkie terrior 'tude and fur. He has been a great companion; he is a one lady dog.

He sounds lovely, my yorkie is on my lap at the moment. Hubby has fell asleep on sofa and she has just jumped on him to get him up so she has been told off and she aint bovvered!
