Anybody know where I can get a 16" light fixture for a 5.5 gallon tank online, I'v looked and haven't been able to find one at all. Anybody know one that will give me more than 14w thanks :good:

A Interpet T5 TriPlus 24W is only 12" even with the starter attached I'll be under 16"

Hmm, were would I get this and would the bulb be 15 or 16" because that's what I'm trying to get at, a bulb that will give me more than 14w and cover the whole tank because the 10w bulb I have now that sits in the middle makes the plant grow inward and I don't like that and would like more lighting?

thanks

An Interpet 24W T5 with a reflector will give you a lot of light across the width of your tank. I can`t imagine the corners of your tank being in shadow.

Sorry,

I can`t help you if Interpet are not available in the US. Try Googling 24W T5 or 16" T5 and see what you get. I am sure there are T5 lamps available in the US.

This is ebayUK, and the chap says UK only postage but that is default when selling on ebay.
Ask him if he would consider sending to USA

as Themulous and Dave have said though you can get a T5 twin compact 24w which is 12 inches +2 inches which is the plug cap for one end.

You can also get a twin version which is 2 x 24.
