15g Planted Tank Journal-equipment Arrived Today!

Ive been thinking about it for some time, having a planted aquarium. Ive done research and have even picked up a few things, but now i have the money i can actually create my own planted tank. Will these things do to get me started on a heavily planted thriving aquarium?

Tank size: 15g, 24" long. (18g us)
Filter: Internal, 800lph
Heater: 25c
Lighting: Interpet daylight plus 18", Arcadia Freshwater, 18". (Reflector)
Fert(s): TetraPlant PlantaMin, TetraPlant Crypto Plant Root Fertiliser Tablets
Substrate: Small gravel (3-5mm), 2-2 1/2" deep

Everything looks good.
Never used the tetra fert so cant comment on it.

What about Co2?

CO2? None as of yet, it seems im below 2wpg so i should be ok. Ill have to see how it goes.

Should i slowly add the plants? BG-FG, or just heavily plant the tank in the beginning? Also any suggestions on plants?

4. Plant heavily from the start. Cover at least 50% of the substrate with fast-growers.

Examples of Algae-Busting Plants �

Hygrophila species
Ludwigia species
Rotala species
Egeria species
Brazilian Water Ivy
Small Ambulia
Mexican Oak Leaf
Water Sprite
Hornwort
Floating plants (careful they don�t block too much light

Id advise on covering 75% of the substrate.
