15g betta blackwater questions

hello! i have some questions about my 15g betta tank
1. will shrimp work in blackwater? the ph is quite low, and i need to find a home for my single neocaridinia shrimp... i will get more when it grows up
2. what types of other fish or other things will work in the tank?
currently there's one betta, 2 small mystery snails, and one single nerite. the nerite was separated from the 75g because it was outcompeted for food from the other big nerites

There are some shrimp that do well in soft water, but I'm not a shrimp aquarist so others will have to advise.

Assuming the "betta" is a male Betta splendens, it should not be housed with other fish. Snails and shrimp are usually suggested, with the proviso that bettas will sometimes see shrimp as food.

thanks. i just need to find a forever home for my one neo.
it's growing fast in a bag in the 75g, but i think the pearl gouramis will eat it if i put it in.
i got it as a hitchhiker from when i got the 2nd bamboo shrimp. i had to keep it alive
