I have some nice blue mickey mouse platys in my big tank at the moment, they're really quite blue

Peacock Gudgeons, well they've got a bit of red tiger striping and some pale color but they're primarily blue and about the most beautiful freshwater fish I've seen. Also I don't know how big your proposed tank will be nor do I know how daring you are but there are some stunning blue colored discus out there.
