15 gallon tank

An absolutely adorable fish for that size are Endler's Livebearer.
They would be great with some Java Moss (if you want to save some of the fry), and some hardier plants such as Anubia, Hygrophilia, Java Fern or Pennywort.

You could go for 10 Endlers and just let them multiply, maybe add 3 oto cats for algae control.

Another idea would be killifish, absolutely underrated fish IMO.

i have black phantoms and panda cories in mine

but if i could restock i'd probably go for sparkling gourami and pygmy cories

A dwarf gourami, 5 dwarf cories and a shoal of 6 harlequin rasboras :)

OR

4 bronze (or peppered) cories and a trio of platies (or guppies)

OR

a bristlenose pleco and lots of cardinal tetras (or neons or black phantom tetras or harlequin rasboras) in a heavily-planted tank

OR

4 cories and 4 cherry barbs

OR

fill it up with 8 or so tiger barbs (nothing else) :p

There are sooo many options...

Don't get your heart set on the Tiger Barbs, they should be kept in larger tanks...

Personally I would plant fairly heavily and have some bottom dwellers like small Corys and then fill the rest of the tank with a lot of one species of something small like Tetras.
