hi all

anyone have any ideas for stocking my 15 gallon

want a couple bright schools of fish

but also want couple bigger fish also

plzz state what fish and how many??

thanx alot

You really cant have all those fish. You could have a school and a couple larger fish, like 3 inches. Id go with..
2 blue rams
6 neon tetras
3 chain loaches

I'd get:

1 banded gourami (colisa fasciata) or one thick-lipped gourami (colisa labiosa)
5 black phantom tetras
3 bronze, albino or blackfin corydoras catfish (NOT one of each)

OR

6 harlequin rasboras (the very best schooling fish) and one small, peaceful dwarf cichlid of your choice (eg: ram)

i'd go for some neons/cardinals, or my new fave 'wild green neons' well hats what they were labled at my LFS

and some panda cories,

maybe a male betta, not tried that myself bu at one poin aas told that would be ok, may be a touh over stocked so check with someone else as well lol, still a newbie

heres what i have:
1 blue gourami
6 serpae tetra

makes a very attractive tank

hi thanx for the replys

i thought i would let u no what the tank looks like

it has sand substrate quit alot of plants and caves and some big rocks are also rendomly scattered around the tank but looks gd to me

so keep ideas commin

thanx

I'm currently cycling a 15 gallon and fancy stocking the following:

4 Guppies
4-6 Neons/cardinals
2 German Rams

or maybe scrap the rams for

1 beta
2 cories

Wanna get guppies first cos althougn I'm doing a fishless cycle I still think it's best to introduce fish slowly, with hardier fish first!

I've just got an 18US gallon tank. I'm probably getting-
4 cories or a couple more if I can get pygmy ones.
6 ish tetras (probably black widow)
And 1 larger gouami or 2 smaller ones. I think I'll either get dwarf or red honey.
