First of all, what do you already have in the tank?
2nd, before you buy more fish, try to solve the problem another way, because adding fish could just make it worse. By saying "cleaning up the bottom" do you mean there is too much poop, leftover food, or algea? If its poop, then no fish will eat it, and you have to get rid of it yourself by using a gravel vac. Overstocking could be causing this also. If you have too much leftover food, try cutting down on the amount you feed.
If you have too much aglea, could it be because your tank is by a window? An algea scraper is your friend!

Remember, when adding another fish to "clean up the bottom", you still have to feed it. You can't just expect the fish to get all its food from the leftovers your other fish leave.

12 platys in the tank, its an algae problem, i vac the gravel once evrey 2 weeks.

Yikes that is quite overstocked. Are some still babies, or are they all adults?
With 12 platies I would be gravel vaccing once or twice a week atleast.
You don't really have enough room to be adding any more fish. Ottos are very sensitive to water quality, so are not suitable for an overstocked tank. Plecos are big waste producers (even the smaller ones) so wouldn't be suitable either. An aglea scraper is really your only solution. I find the aglea magnets work really well, because you don't even need to get your hands wet!

there all still quite small ( an inch), when they get bigger i am upgrading their tank ang using the 15 gal for endlers, just wanted to know if any fish could clean the bottom on algae.

i would still say a pleco if you are able to increase the amount of water changes from biweekly to weekly. maybe snails are a possibility as well.
