15 gal how many how much

I have a 15 gallon tank ( 20x18x10) and was wondering if i could put 3 male and 5 female red wag swordtails. What else should i put in?

well that sounds good, i would add maybe sum corys ora pleco to keep the alge and waste deposite at the bottom of the tank from getting to outa controlle. u'v alredy got 8 fish so maybe u can jus use the lil extra room for sum nice live plants.

I would get another female it's good to have 2 females per male.

Doesn't a pleco get kinda big?

Your tank demension, is 18inch depth or height?

As for your fish selection, perhaps you should go with 2 males and 6 females - this gives better ratio and less chance for females to get stressed and eventually catch disease.

If you like cories, they would make good tank mates to platies. Try 4 or 5 of them in your tank.
