15 Fry,then14 Fry, Now 12 Fry - But Only Found 1 Dead Fry In The Hatch

i had 17 baby fry - then it went down to 15 - no evidence of the m,issing 2 fry - then down to 14 fry - no evidence of missing fry - now down to 12 fry -p found 1 dead fry in the net but not thge other - PUZZLED OR WHAT??

Maybe the other fry ate them? Although you would think it would be too big. I dunno, I'm sure some of the boffins will know

Does the hatch have a loose weave or dip into the tank (the top)? Could have been sucked out if it were young enough or swam out if it somehow dipped.

Possible sibling rivalry, or canabalism. Happens frequently with various species
