Hi,

I have just acquired a 125l tank which will replace my 52l tank as it has too many fish in it at the moment. The tank will be going to my brother and could take some existing stock (neons if needed) with it or they may go in the new tank. I am looking for suggestions for the new tank incorporating at least one gourami, the siamese fighter and the cory.

I have

2 dwarf gouramis
1 bronze/green cory
1 siamese fighter (female)
4 platys
10 neons
1 x black skirt tetra

So what do you think? Would potentially like some algae eaters in there if interesting and might like something a bit bigger, the tank will be heavily planted.

All opinions welcome but I do already know:

2 d gouramis = bad
too much stock in existing tank
tetra should be in shoal

Many thanks!

Iain

p.s what's the best way to transfer bacteria from an interpet filter to a juwel, stick the sponges in and let it spread?
