Actually, both of them are Diamondback Terrapins. The one with the 'black specs' is the female and the other one is the male. Both of them have black specs, except the male's are much smaller and make his skin look completly grey.

Actually, I was just answering the question about them needing a basking area. I saw that on the picture, although it looked small...but then again, it's a picture and they can be deceiving sometimes.

I love your turtles though :wub:
btw, how big to they get?
 
They are full grown, 10 year old adults. The Basking spot is 14 inches X 9 inches, so it is big. ;)

So in other words, they are not big turtles. They must be extremely happy in your tank :thumbs:
