u know with bloodworm you open it,pour the water out over a net so the water goes through and the bloddworm stays in the net
well with bbs what do u do as they are prety small and will fall theough the holes

well, you need to hatch the eggs first. ;) then you'll need a brine-shrimp net for feeding.

(and quit buying fish!! your tank is FULL!)

im not gona buy more fish
well if u buy them from a shop they are hatched were can i get a bs net from

yes i have zebra danio fry in another small tank about 13-16 of them (there around 2 months old

You know you can get freezedried baby brineshrimp now days, so if you get that you won't have to bother with all the issues with keeping live BBS.

On your original question about harvesting Artemia nauplii (newly hatched brineshrimp) After hatching by whichever hatching appratus you use. I use a large syringe with a little piece of airline attached to the nozzel and suck up some of the brineshrimp. I then have a jam-jar with a cotton hankerchief draped over the top, then empty the contentents of the syringe onto the hankerchief. I then take a large meat baster and suck up some tank water and flush the saline soultion from the brineshrimp two or three times. I then dip the hankie into my fry tanks.
No matter how hard you try you will always get a certain amount of shells in the mix unless you are prepared to decapsulate the cysts before hatching.
I hope this was of some help to you

If you want to hatch your own BBS, you can use a paper coffee filter to strain the water from the brine. Turn the paper filter inside out over the tank and dip the filter in the tank. The BBS will come off in the water and you can dispose of the filter. The filters are very inexpensive, I have a stack of the large style that are shaped like a bowl. I place the filter over a jar with a small depression in the center so the water falls in the jar and the BBS are left on the filter. Easy to do.

I use coffee filters to collect BBS in, it seems to work well.
